  • Lee Ferreira

    Lee Ferreira joined Ferring Canada as General Manager in September 2017.

    Lee has close to 30 years experience in the Pharma-Biotech Industry.  In fact, it was Ferring Canada that gave Lee her first opportunity into the industry in early 1990 when she joined the company as a Clinical Research Associate following the completion of her post graduate degree.  She has certainly come full circle and is incredibly proud to be leading the team here in Canada. 

    Prior to Ferring, Lee held the role of President and CEO of LEO Pharma and CEO of Medical Futures, as well as various roles with Sanofi-Genzyme, Roche and Solvay Pharma. She has had enormous opportunities to broaden her level of expertise and develop as a senior leader in various areas including Clinical Research, Market Access, Marketing, Sales and Business Unit Management.  Her therapeutic areas of knowledge include fertility and woman’s health, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, nephrology and dermatology.

    Lee holds a Master of Science degree in Anatomy Physiology and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.

  • Sumintra Singh

    Sr. Director, Finances, Logistics and IT

    Sumintra Singh joined Ferring Canada as Financing Planning Manager in 2003 and is now Senior Director Finance, Logistics and IT. 

    Sumintra has expertise as a financial business partner to deliver analysis, execution and bottom-line results. She is accountable for all aspects of the company financial reporting and is a strategic business partner to the management team and operational business units. She worked in both the pharmaceutical industry and the consumer goods industry. 

    Sumintra Singh is a CPA, CGA and holds  H.B. Com from Laurentian University.

    Director, Human Resources

  • Richard Judge

    Richard Judge joined Ferring Canada as Director, Human Resources in July 2019.

    He comes to Ferring from Polaris Transportation Group, where he was the executive HR leader for five business units. Prior to working with Polaris, Richard spent 16 years with Teva Pharmaceuticals in progressive roles of increasing responsibility both on the generic and innovative sides of the business. As an HR Business Partner, Richard has a vast breadth of knowledge in commercial operations, as well as partnering in scientific areas including regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, medical affairs and biopharmaceutics.

    Richard has supported manufacturing including production, packaging, maintenance, warehouse and distribution, and his experience has also included oversight of areas in quality and compliance, in addition to corporate support functions such as technical operations, corporate engineering and new product testing.  Richard brings with him a wealth of expertise and has had the opportunity to work through several complex and challenging organizational changes such as the Ratiopharm and Activis integrations into Teva management.

    Richard has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history from the University of Western Ontario, and studied Human Resources Management at George Brown College.

    Director, Medical & Scientific Affairs

  • Dr. Ross Ormsby

    Dr. Ross Ormsby joined Ferring Canada in November 2019 as Director, Medical Affairs and Compliance. On March 1st 2022, Ross was promoted to the position of Director, Medical & Scientific Affairs. In his expanded role, Ross leads the Medical Affairs teams for our therapeutic area, while Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance and Compliance fall under the Scientific Affairs umbrella.


    Ross joined us from Acerus Pharmaceutical Corporation.  While with Acerus, Ross was responsible for defining and executing medical strategies, leading and defining global medical education and creating and disseminating scientific and clinical content. He also led global Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information and a National MSL team. In this role he worked across multiple therapeutic areas including urology and cardiology.


    Prior to working with Acerus, Ross had roles of increasing responsibility with Mylan EPD Canada as both Senior Medical Specialist and Advisor. 


    Ross has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in Nanotechnology and Carbon Nano Structures and completed his PhD in Medical Biomedical Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast in Northern Ireland.  Following his dissertation, Ross was an Assistant Professor and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge England.

  • Tahir Feroz

    Director, Market Access and Interim Business Unit Director, Specialty

  • Tahir Feroz

    Tahir Feroz joined Ferring Canada as Director, Market Access & Regulatory Affairs on May 3, 2021. On March 1st  2022, Tahir was appointed Interim Business Unit Director – Specialty also continuing in his role as Director, Market Access. 

    Tahir joined us from Novo-Nordisk Canada Inc. (NNCI) where he was the Director of Patient Access. 

    Prior to his most recent role, Tahir held a series of progressive positions in Access with NNCI over eight (8) years’ experience with the organization.

    Before joining the pharmaceutical sector, Tahir held roles with IQVIA focused on market assessment, revenue forecasting, customer segmentations and market research; and with KPMG LLP, leading process re-engineering and improvements as well as audit teams.

    Tahir holds a BSc in Biology from Queen’s University, a MSc in Medical Sciences from McMaster University, a BComm Accounting from Dalhousie University and holds a CPA, CA, from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
